How Does Glow in the Dark Slime Work?

The science behind glow in the dark slime lies in the special glow in the dark glue. These glues contain a phosphorescent substance called strontium aluminate.

This material absorbs and stores energy from ambient light. When placed in a dark environment, the strontium aluminate releases the stored energy as a fluorescent green or blue glow.

The more light the slime absorbs, the brighter it will glow in the dark.
